Issues & Positions
HD 25 familes deserve a reasonable cost of living, lower taxes, affordable housing and energy, safe neighborhoods and schools

Cost of Living – Inflation
I want to mitigate the effects of inflation by:
-
Eliminating regulations that limit development
-
Cutting taxes
-
Ensuring full TABOR refunds are returned to taxpayers
-
Opposing new taxes, fees, or hidden charges

Housing Affordability and Supply
We can make housing more affordable and available through local control and zoning reform, as well as:
-
Streamlining permitting, cutting red tape for builders
-
Tax credits for builders of starter homes
-
Financial assistance for first-time buyers
-
Reducing property tax

Economy and Jobs
I believe we can drive small business and job creation by:
-
Cutting taxes and regulations for small business
-
Oppose mandates and fees that stifle hiring and growth
-
Expand vocational programs and apprenticeships
-
Invest in critical infrastructure

Parents' Rights and Education
Parents have a right to safety, transparency and freedom of choice in education, which is why I support:
-
Trained resource officers in every school
-
Curriculum transparency for parents
-
Focus on reading, math, writing and critical thinking
-
Options for families – charter, private, homeschool

Energy Policy
Xcel Energy's rate hikes — driven by ideological mandates — could raise electricity bills 55–72% by 2029. Colorado's utilites can't shut the grid off while the PUC rubber stamps rate increases, so I want to:
-
Challenge Xcel Energy rate hikes and hidden fees
-
Broaden energy strategy to include fossil fuels and nuclear
-
Push utilities to upgrade and harden infrastructure

Wild Fire Protection and Mitigation
HD-25 is in one of the highest wildfire risk areas in the country, which means we must:
-
Manage forests aggressively
-
Collaborate with Federal agencies on mitigation, management, and emergency response
-
Support homeowners to harden infrastructure

Taxes, Spending, and TABOR
Colorado spending has outpaced population growth and inflation, growing at 35-45% since 2018; as a result, I intend to:
-
Freeze non-essential hiring
-
Cut waist to reduce state government size
-
Block TABOR work arounds (“fees”) because we need spending constraints
-
Reject tax increases and reduce taxes

Immigration and Border Security
Sanctuary status and aid to illegal immigrants costs taxpayers and their communities too much, and I believe we must:
-
Eliminate sanctuary status and cooperate with Federal law enforcement
-
Remove those engaged in criminal activity first
-
Combat fentanyl trafficking
-
Make legal immigration transparent, more streamlined, and accountable
-
Control our national borders

Crime and Public Safety
Putting and keeping criminals in jail will reverse negative crime data Colorado is experiencing, so we must:
-
Implement tougher penalties and bail for repeat and violent offenders and fentanyl dealers
-
Fully fund law enforcement
-
Protect qualified immunity for law enforcement
